The project is located 10km from the municipality of Puerto Salgar, Cundinamarca, within an intermodal passenger and cargo transport node in a strategic location in the Región Andina zone.

The site of implantation seeks to take advantage of all the opportunities offered by the territory in a large project as it is located in the productive center of the country and equidistant from Bogotá and Medellín, the main cities of the country whose airports are close to reach their maximum capacity and have restrictions to expand their capacity and to operate full-fledged cargo planes in a region from which a large part of the country's exports originate.
